NCA 2008 Working Bitch Winner
Yesterday at the New England Newfoundland Club NCA draft test, in Auburn, MA.
Pocahontas & Peggy qualified for the NCA title of Draft Dog, completing Pocahontas requirements for a Versatile Newfoundland title. Which is accomplished by obtaining a AKC Championship title,
AKC companion dog title, NCA Junior & Senior Water dog title and NCA Draft Dog title.
Pocahontas is a puppy out of Kongo 1# Newf 2005 X Tina Turner ROM, they had a litter of 7, we got 5 champions, 1 Versatile Newfoundland title, 5 canine good citizens,
1 #4 Newf in the country at the moment, supported entries winners, group winners/placers, 1 NCA specialty Working bitch winner, 1 NCA stud dog placer/BOB cuts.................
Wow, what a awesome litter, yes I know I'm leaving other accomplishment out of this litter, but we got the idea :)
I placed Pocahontas and 6 months of age, as I new she needed to go to a home aiming for a VN title. Pocahontas was always off her feet, flying through the air and Nina Simone
was always competing with her.
I'm sure Carolyn Kuhn remembers, how competitive and full of them selves they ARE, well Pocahontas tapered down and chose to take her Mommy & Daddy to 17 water trials (they are so lucky!)
if it wasn't for Pokey, they would have never traveled so much to water trial and met so many wonderful people and enjoyed many dinners :))))......hahaha
