Second week of life

I did some head shots on this 8th day, since they still haven't opened their eye's.
Their heads are very very much the same ;)

Well, day nine started with the Senoritas in a basket full of toys.
They relaxed in the basket, while their bedding was changed.
They relaxed on daddy's lap and shoulder.
By day ten they complained of being hot, but yet I was freezing.
These ladies only used the heat lamp the first night.
And for us having the AC on 71 degrees, ceiling and floor fans on is freezing!
But not for "las senoritas"
Everywhere we placed them, they sought after the cold spots.
Against my lemonade on the bed ~Miss Nena
We even gave them "Polar Packs" ~ Miss Negra
They were lapping water by day 10
On my lap with a huge ice pack under the towel.
And in the whelping box, with the ice packs under the towel.

Mommy Celine is a great mom!
Celine makes certain to look after them and cleanse them.
She leaves them happy and content.
But shortly after you have "Miss Nena" barking for more nourishments.
Miss Nena has gotten nicknames, like barker & misery.
When she is not sleeping, she is barking or complaining that she is miserably hot!
She try's to act as if it isn't her making all the ruckus. (ssssh look at her white chest ;)
They do spend a few minutes a day playing.
Here is Miss Nena, trying to bite her sister.
It was so funny, when she kept trying to bite Celine's paw ;)

The other guys continue to invade the family room.
Celine is very protective of her Senoritas.
So we don't let the other guys roam the house.
But they are very happy and content in the large family room.
Mother and daughter (Nina & India)
They are so bad, they went into my granddaughters toy box
and helped themselves to her stuffed toys.
My daughter told me "mommy don't let them rip the toys up"
Ha! Ha! Ha!, by that time, I was vacuuming stuffing, the next morning.
Miss India (above) and her mother Nina, know how to open the wooden toy box.
Yup, they watched QVC

And snuggled with me.
Mean while back in the whelping box, the Senoritas had a FL friend (lizard) drop by for a drink.
Celine helps herself to the puppy's water.

They are solid and plumpy! There is no room for FL friends to drop in anymore ;)
They are stuffed!

Kisses until the end of next week ;)
