To me this litter of pups are extra special. I've attempted this breeding four times in the past two years,

via every way possible with no success. Celine was just not conceiving. On the fifth and final try I gave acupuncture a try.

Celine was taken to acupuncture treatments & placed on holistic female hormone support months prior to being bred.

We also did a fresh collection surgical implant with what the reproduction specialist called "outstanding" semen :)

Good thing Kongo's entry never made it to Westminster or he wouldn't have been home from showing to sire this

precious gem litter.  Although it should be the million dollar litter as it cost nearly that much.

As I always say, THERE ARE NO DOLLARS to be made in breeding!!!,

When all complete testing, care & comfort are done, there is no  profit..

In this whelping everything started out well. Celine delivered her first seven puppies with no problems.

But then there was a break in delivery of  2.5 hours where Celine didn't deliver a pup as hard as she tried to.

My great, but poor Vet (God bless him) had to be called and made aware that I felt Celine had more puppies

 and a c-section was necessary. So at 9pm hubby, myself and Celine rushed to the Vet. long and behold

the Vet palpated Celine and felt there were a few more puppies to be delivered. So here we are ready with towels

to start rubbing pups. Unfortunately there was only one HUGE pup, with a head as huge as an egg, massive neck

and large body. My goodness the bone on him was nearly as thick as my pinky finger.

But at any rate the pup was the last of the lot, Celine was exhausted and he was stuck.

That little angel whom would have been Mr. Alexandrite earned his wings.
