Jade truly has matured to her name.
She is truly Imperial!
Jade relaxes with us in front of the TV, at night.
She climbed up on the sofa and rested herself, against Courtney.
Jade joins us for tea, in the morning. 3.5 years of age
Jade enjoys her first day in Florida at the beach.
She looks over Anaya & makes friends.
Yikes! Jade yelled "SHARK"....run grandma run
We went on a long walk on the beach.
Every few seconds Jade would stop at turn to see if I was walking behind them.
But, Jade always resumed her walking by following Anaya.
Although Jade was tired from swimming, walking, playing and the cool wind.
She maintained a eye on Anaya, as she played on a log.
A sweet ending to a long day.....

Pocahontas & Jade with grandma

Jade is built like a tank. She is very solid, balanced, big boned, sweet, happy & eager to please.
Jade's body hardiness is very much that of the stone she was named after "Imperial Jade"
If I had to fault Jade (as every Newfie has faults) but in Jade's case it would be her lovely eye's.
Her eye's a bit lighter than I desire,
but that is the least when compared to her wonderful temperament
and SOLID well constructed Newfoundland structure.
(photo's by Cindi Pitt) pictured at 2 years of age.

Miss Jade with Pocahontas in the back ground
Jade is 17 months, Pocahontas is 3.5 years
Jade waits for Mommy Peggy, to toss the bumper.

Jade is a wonderful loving girl,
very attentive, intelligent and did I mention loving.

Jade had no choice but to stand still on the grooming table.
If she is on the ground and sees me with the camera,
she runs to put a nose print on the lens.
Jade at 6 month of age
Below Jade goes to Petsmart to make new friends
Jade meets "Quincy" the 9 month old golden retriever
The Guinea Pigs scatter when Jade approached their habitat :(
Poor Jade, first she sees Parakeet's on the ground, then they take flight.
Jade's head bopped up and down as she followed them around.
Poor Jade walks away sadden because all the animals she visits run away.
Don't worry Jade, let go visit the fish :)
Hmmmmm Mommy is this a branch for me to chew on?
Jade has made some friends, that don't run away or rather swim away.
The fish happily greet Jade at their front door.
Jade made many human friends. She liked them the best, as they give hugs and treats :)
Oh she attempted to give the Bichon Frise a high five, but it landed on its head.
Jade did a little shopping
Glanced at the Parakeet's and assured them "She'd be Back"
Until next time
