Nina whelped a lovely single female litter.
Both Nina and her daughter are doing great!
Little Miss Courtney was born on my husbands birthday :)
So for the time being she will be identified as "Courtney"
All day, on Jan 20th inauguration day, we watch Nina and the TV.
She could have gone anywhere to dig, but chose to dig beside the dog deck.
Nina dug, until she could lay comfortably in her nest.
She ripped every root and grass, in her site.
I have never had a girl, build a nest this big and this deep.
All for one lovely puppy & her lovely figure.
Well, we worried that she would strike water, here in Florida :)
All night Nina chose to go in and out of the house, to her nest.
It was the coldest day in FL (to me) and the most Starry Night.
I must have lost count after witnessing 3 million shooting stars!
The next day at 7:00 am, Nina delivered a 1.9 lb, baby girl.
Miss Courtney has lovely white rear toes, like her mommy.
And a lovely amount of white on her chest.
She is a very vigorous nurser!
And is already trying to climb over Nina's back.
